Yes, you are eligible to apply for NDA 2017 examination if your date of birth is 16/ 01/ 2001. The minimum age limit required for the candidate to apply for NDA examination is 16 1/2 years and the maximum age is 19 1/2 years. You must be an Unmarried Male candidate and must have passed 12th standard from a recognised board to be eligible to appear in NDA examination. There is no restriction on the number of attempts to appear in NDA examination. |

According to notifications, only those candidates will be eligible for the exam whose DOB lies between 02nd July, 1998 and 1st July, 2001. As your DOB is on 16th January, 2001 so you can apply for upcoming NDA Exam 2017 (I). Important Dates of upcoming NDA Exam 2017:

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There are no attempts limit in NDA exam. |
