NET stands for National Eligibility Test and it is conducted for recruitment as lecturer as well as JRF. The eligibility to appear for examination is that :- Candidate must have passed master's degree from a recognised university. Candidate must have minimum 55% in master degree. NET stands for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test and it is conducted by UGC twice every year for recruitment as lecturer or for Junior Research Fellowship. The minimum required qualification to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed or in final year of master's degree from a recognised university. So, you are not eligible to appear for examination with bachelor degree qualification. The maximum age limit is 28 years for JRF. No, age limit for lecturer post. About NET examination: This is post graduate level entrance examination conducted by CBSE for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship. Eligibility criteria for NET: Academic Qualification: Master's degree is minimum academic qualification for this exam. Age criteria: For JRF, upper age limit is 28 years and there is no any limit for Lectureship. You are not for National Eligibility Test after Bachelor of Commerce degree. |

You are required to apply for master's degree to apply for NET. NET Eligibility - You must possess master's degree with at least 55% belonging to general category. Relaxation of 5% given to reserved categories and Ph.D candidates. - Age should not be more than 28 years for JRF. No age limit for Lecturership. NET Application Procedure - Go to official site : www.cbsenet.nic.in - On homepage, You will see application form link. - Fill the required details in application form. - Upload passport sized photograph and signature in specified size and format. - Pay the application fee online. - Submit your application and Print it. - Send application along with mandatory documents to registrar. NET stands for National Eligibility Test and same examination is held by CBSE twice every year for recruitment of assistant professor and junior research fellowship in various universities of India. The minimum educational qualification required for appearing in the same examination is a Master's degree in any discipline ( in any one of the 84 subject's list available on the official link ) with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. Relaxation of 5% is allowed for reserved category candidates. So being bachelor degree holder i.e; B.Com you are not eligible for appearing in NET at this stage but one's you complete your Master's degree with required aggregate you will certainly become eligible for appearing in NET. Re: Am I eligible to apply for NET examination after B.Com degree? After passing B.Com it is not possible to appear for NET as a minimum qualification for this is M. Com. Masters degree with 55% marks is the qualification required for NET. There is no upper age limit for the exam. The lower age limit specified is 19 years. There is a certain eligibility criteria that is required in order to be eligible for appearing in NET Exam. >> The minimum educational qualification required for appearing in NET Examination is "Master's Degree" or Post Graduation in concerned stream from a recognized university. >> You must have secured minimum 55% marks in Post Graduation to be eligible. >> As B.Com is a Bachelor Degree, I am sorry to say that you are not eligible. I suggest you to pursue Master's Degree (M.Com) in order to be eligible. |

Am I eligible to apply for NET examination after B.Com degree? Am I eligible to apply for NET examination after B.Com degree? Am I eligible to apply with just B.Com degree or not? Can you please provide me the right details on this? It will be helpful if you can answer me soon on this. Awaiting for the response. |
