The minimum percentage of marks required in the masters degree program is 55% for candidates belonging to general and OBC category and 50% for candidates belonging to Sc/St category. The National Eligibility Test for Lectureship, NET is conducted twice a year by university Grant Commission and if you possess all the qualifications mentioned above, you may definitely take the test.
