Re: Can I study B.Sc general even if failed in physics?

You cannot apply for B.Sc (Bachelor in Science) course from any college or University if you have failrd in Physics. If it was on 11th standard, it will be okay. But in 12th, Fail means Fail, it will be reflected on your report card. It will be asked in the Interviews or Placements why you have failed in the exam, and correspondingly affect your selection.

But do not lose hope, there is always a way out.

You can apply for Supplementary Exam for Physics.
Just get good marks in the Compartment and get your result clean.
Do not think of repeating the year just for only one paper.

After getting good marks, you can apply for B.Sc in any subject from a no. of College/University options.

** Some of the good colleges for pursuing B.Sc course are :

* Banaras Hindu University - BHU , Varanasi

* Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh

* Delhi University, Delhi

* Jamia Millia Islamia University

* St. Xavier's College, Kolkata

* St. Stephens College, New Delhi

* Presidency College, Kolkata

No, a candidate who has failed in any of the subject in 10 + 2 board examination is not eligible to pursue any under graduation course.
So as per the rules and regulations firstly you have to clear your all the exams to get admission in whatever the course you want.
So you are not eligible to pursue BSc in general if you are failed in physics 12th board examination.

Bachelor of Science (general) is an undergraduate course. The duration of this course is three years. Candidates who have passed 12th class in science steam from a recognized board are eligible to join Bachelor of Science (general) course. Generally 50% of marks are required but the percentage may vary from college to college. As per my knowledge, you are not eligible to get admission in B.Sc general even if failed in physics.
