Gynecology is a division of medical science that deals with the study of health related issues of female reproductive system

After Completing your 4 and half years of MBBS course you can opt for various courses which provide specializations in the field of gynecology.Those courses are
Diploma in Gynecology and Obstetrics
MD in Gynecology and Obstetrics
M.S. in Gynecology and Obstetrics

So it is of 2 years course .There is a lot of scope for those who are opting Gynecologist as career in the present scenario.

You can start a private clinic or hospital if you have a 5-10 years of experience .
