AS the course demand in the upsc to become DM is oriented towards Arts subject inculdes(History,Geography,Political Science,Disaster management).
So,better to start as earlier in this age to get grasp of subject .

And add one thing in routine is to daily read 1-2 editorial of english newspaper.
And make habit to write what ever you read in the books in your word and can take help of books allso.

To become a collector, first of all, you will have to complete your bachelor degree in any stream from any reputed university.

After then, you will have to appear in UPSC examination.

These are the eligibility criteria for UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) exam:-

A) Bachelor degree passed in any stream from any reputed university.

B) Age limit is 21-32 years.

C) Age relaxation is granted to SC/ST with 5 years and OBC with 3 years.

D) Indian Citizenship.

You can take any subjects or stream ,just requirement is a bachelor degree of any stream to apply for Civil services

It doesn't matter that which subject a candidate had in class 11th or 12th.
Thus, to apply for the UPSC a candidate should have a bachelor's degree In any manner.
Thus, its upon your interest that you choose your subjects and after this complete your graduation and then you are eligible to apply for IAS exam.

Hi,
To Become an IAS officer, the minimum qualification is Graduation.
So in 12th if you choose Economics subjects like CEC, HEC and in Graduation it would be better to cope up with the IAS syllabus.
Proper training, if you taken to attempt the exams, defenetly you can achieve your goal

Candidates who aspire to become a collector should qualify the civil services exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission. They should first qualify the preliminary test called Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT). This preliminary test is common for all civil services IAS, IPS, IFS and IRS.

To become collector candidate have to appear and qualify in all three stages of Civil Service examination.

The eligibility to appear for Civil Service examination is :-

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

There is no limitation on discipline of bachelor degree to appear for examination.

The age limit to appear for examination is 21-32 years.

So, if you want to appear in examination you must start preparation for examination and select any course. For detail information visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

For selection as an I.A.S, I.P.S Officer candidates have to appear and qualify in Civil Service examination conducted by UPSC.

The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

So, you can pursue any stream in 12th or in bachelor degree to appear for examination. The examination is conducted in three stages and candidates have to qualify in all stages for final selection.

>> Firstly qualify 10+2 and try to get more than 60% in intermediate.
>> After intermediate you need to complete your graduation from recognized university in regular mode.
>> To become a collector you need to sit in UPSE exam and qualify prelims, mains and interview mode as per the advertisement in vacancy.

you can choose commerce stream or science stream in PUC. After completing your 10+2 you take coaching for IAS exams and attend it then you will be selected for training if you qualify the exam

For becoming collector you need to complete your graduation degree in any stream so you can choose any subject in your 12th class. The full details about the eligibility requirements of collector are mentioned below.

Eligibility criteria:
- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- The age limit is 21 - 40 years. There is 3 years age relaxation for OBC, 5 years for SC/ ST.
- The candidate should complete their graduation in any stream with a fair percentage from any recognised university or institute.

After completing graduation you need to apply for the civil service exam conducted by the UPSC. The exam has 3 levels preliminary, mains and a personal interview if you clear all these rounds then you'll be appointed as a collector.

I suggest you to choose physics, chemistry and mathematics in 12th standard because it will help you in your aim of being a collector in future.

To become a collector you have first complete your graduation degree in any stream then you have to apply for UPSC and crack this after that you will become a collector.

Eligibility criteria for UPSC are:-
Candidate must have completed graduation with minimum 50 percent aggregate in any discipline.

Candidate must be under age:-
General- 21 years to 30 years.
OBC- 21 years to 35 years.
SC/ST- 21 years to 37 years.
PWD- 21 years to 40 years.

Height:-
Girls-157 cm.
Boys-167 cm.

For becoming collector you have to crack civil services examination which is conducted by UPSC.

You can opt for any stream according to your interest and after graduation you can apply for civil service examination.


Age limit is between in 21 to 30 years. 5 years age relaxation for SC /ST and 3 years for OBC category.

The selection will be based on the marks in the preliminary exam, main exam and interview.
