You have Graduate/Post graduate degree. Indian Army recruits SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION for women candidate. You have to face SSB INTERVIEW. Duration of SSB is 5 days. If you have NCC C CERTIFICATE, You will get bonus marks in the recruitment. So prepare well. Jai hind |

CDSE is conducted by the UPSC twice a year in the month of February and October for the recruitment of officers in the defence forces. The eligibility criteria for the same is as follows : * The candidate should be a citizen of India. * The candidate should be mentally and physically fit. * The candidate should have done the graduation under the scheme of 10+2+3 at least from a recognized university. * The minimum age for appearing is 21 years at least. You can appear in the examination right from the final year of your graduation degree. |

They get commissioned into the various Arms and Services of the Indian Army after 49 weeks training. For the eligibility part, they need to be a graduate to apply. According to the revised conditions of Service of SSCOs (Men and Women both Technical and Non-Technical), tenure of Short Service Commission in Army will be granted for 14 years. On completing two years’ service, they pick up the rank of Captain followed by Major on completion of 6 years’ service. After 13 years of service, they pick up the rank of LT.Col. |
