Re: What is the procedure to join Army after doing B.Tech in IT? For graduate candidate there is one way to join Indian army and that is by giving CDS exam. The graduates can apply for the post of commissioned officer. After clearing the entrance exam you will be interviewed and after that you will be tested medically. If you are medically fit you will be selected for training. You can apply for the same on the official website of Indian army. Your age should be between 19 to 25 years. |

You can join Indian Army after B.Tech. in I.T. through appearing and cracking CDS entrance exam which is conducted by UPSC two times a year as CDS-I and CDS-II for entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS. In order to join Indian Army/Military Academy of CDS, One must be an unmarried Indian male candidate. He should have either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam in any discipline from a recognised University. He should be within the age of 19 to 24 years with good physical and mental fitness. The selection is through written exam,personal interview, physical fitness test andfinally through Medical Test. For further information you may log on to http://www.upsc.gov.in |

Re: What is the procedure to join Army after doing B.Tech in IT? Hello My Friend, If you want to join Indian Army then being a girl you can give the entrance exam of OTA conducted by UPSC. By this will be able join defense Services. Eligibility Criteria: 1. Graduation from recognized University. 2. Age Limit: 19-24 years. 3. Unmarried 4. Must be citizen of India. Moreover, 10+2 passed candidates can apply for lower wing, there age should be between 16.5-19 years. Exam Pattern: 1. Mathematics- 300 Marks 2. General English- 200 Marks 3. General Knowledge- 400 Marks Total will be 900 marks. After written exam interview will be conducted. Wish you all the very best. |

Re: What is the procedure to join Army after doing B.Tech in IT? hiii...!!! -->to join army you can give the NDA TEST. --> yes,you can give the NDA II entrance exam after giving your class 12 board exam. ->girls are not eligible for NDA . ->unmarried man are eligible. ->Here is the eligibility criteria,please check the eligibility criteria:- NDA entrance exam eligibility criteria:- >You should be minimum 12 pass out >age limit-16.5-19 yrs >you should be an unmarried citizen of india ->Exam pattern:- >paper i is mathematics of 300 marks >paper ii is the general ability divided into two parts:- >part A is english of 200 marks >part B is general knowledge of 400 marks >so total 900 marks Then there is the interview session on the basis of which you are chosen,so,always prepare the interview session carefully and give it with full confidence. Re: What is the procedure to join Army after doing B.Tech in IT? If you are interested in research you should try to get into DRDO as Scientist. Scientist's provide design and research support for Indian Defence. At present Scientist's are recruited through campus placements in IITs and NITs . There is a scheme in which if you do PhD in Defence related project then you can directly apply for interview, and get in as Scientist 'C', one step ahead of the entry level post. For Indian Army you will be doing defence services that will be very valuable. www.drdo.gov.in |

For joining Indian army,you can give some entrance exam like... 1.NDA(national defence academy ) this test conducted by UPSE center twice in a years........ 2.CDS 3.SSC 4.OTA:this exam can be given only girls. these of exam you can give any exam and clear the exam and join army....best of luck |
