Re: Correction in date of birth of high school certificate

First, the DOB must be modified within the year of the result declaration; requests made after that time are not considered. To alter your DOB, you must first download the application from the CBSE website, print it out, and fill it out with the requested personal information. In the mark sheet, you must include the right DOB along with the stated DOB. Along with this, you must alert the school's principal of the error. Once the application has been received, the principal can review it and submit it with the school's stamp. After verification, the application will be sent to the CBSE, where it will be corrected with a new DOB and a new mark sheet will be sent to the school.

Second, if there are modifications after a year, the application must go via the proper channels; direct applications to the CBSE will not be allowed.

For this you have to write an application to school authority and make them inform about his mistake. Now follow the instructions provided by them to correct your date of birth.

For any correction in the certificate or degree issued by the U.P Board you have to visit the board office.

Correction can be made only if you have sufficient documents that satisfy the required correction.

So, you must take all necessary documents along with you for correction.

Re: Correction in date of birth of high school certificate

One who wants to correct the date of birth in the higher school certificate has to follow the procedure. If you have not appeared for the board exam of 10th, then you can change it during the form filling for the board exams which will make the correct date of birth printed on the certificates of 10th standard and if you have already appeared for the 10th exam then the date of birth is printed wrong on the 10th certificate then there might have been a mistake during the form filling for the board exam. In that case you need to write an application to the school authority and follow the instructions As given by them to get your date of birth change in your certificates of High School.

Re: Correction in date of birth of high school certificate

Date of Birth change in High School Certificate is not a simple task and time taking activity and you have to struggle a lot to complete this process.

Because, by changing date of birth, you might be having so many advantages in various ways.

Hence Board easily can not accept.

First you should be ready with a strong evidence with the correct date of birth. Probably your original date of birth certificate will serve this purpose.

Apart from that, you should be ready with the explanation why you have not given the correct date of birth at the time of admission.

To the best of my knowledge, now the process has been changed for correction in date of birth certificate.

Some petition need to be filed in court and only after court approval, date of birth will be changed in the High School Certificate.

Again this date of birth can be changed at School Board or Authority which has conducted your High School Exams.

This can not be changed at the college.

I would suggest you to visit the Board first and get the complete information.

Follow their guidelines and get it done.
