Difference between UP board and CBSE board:

However, there are lots of differences between the UP Board & CBSE Board but there are also some points which bring huge differences in both, they are given bellow.

UP board:

1. Full-Form is Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP)

2. Formed in 1921, Headquarter in Prayaaraj.

3. Follows the SCERT (State Council of Educational Research and Training) pattern.

4. Schools affiliated to UP Board, their curriculum, pattern, syllabus, textbooks is totally decided by the UP Board.

5. Students who are a permanent resident of the UP State for them to study with UP Board is the best option.

6. Students who want to prepare for the state level examinations’ as PCS should definitely go for the UP Board.

7. For the academic year 2019-20, UP Board has introduced the NCERT books are mandatory from 9th to 12th.

8. Very lengthy syllabus, difficult to score marks as it includes (UTs, STs, etc.)

9. UP Board is available only in Hindi medium schools.

CBSE board:

1. Full-Form is Central Board of Secondary Education

2. Formed in 1952, Headquarter in New Delhi.

3. Follow the NCERT based syllabus that is approved by the Indian Government.

4. Over 19000 private schools and 200 government follow the CBSE Board.

5. Students who get transferred from one state to another can also go for CBSE Board.

6. Students who want to start their preparation for medical and engineering.

7. Competitive exams follow the NCERT pattern which is followed in CBSE Board.

8. CBSE Board is available in both schools (Hindi/English).

9. Private schools can also give 10th and 12th exams. It means schools that are not affiliated to the CBSE Board or home-based study and want to give direct 10th and 12th exams.

Re: What is the difference between UP and CBSE board?

I think up board is best board than cbse board ,up board is conduct by up government and cbse board is conduct by central board.up board and cbse board are same in subject but syllabuses are different. State board's student have that knowledge to face the challenges and up board student gives exam by them hard work but cbse boards teacher give him a hint before exam.

Re: What is the difference between UP and CBSE board?

UP Board is little bit tougher for students in comparison to CBSE Board. The reason is that in UP Board students have to study each and every topic very deeply. That's why UP Board students could not score good percentage than CBSE Board Students.

Re: What is the difference between UP and CBSE board?

UP board means Uttar Pradesh board. So it is state level board. Each state have their own board of education which have their own syllabus n fees structure.
CBSE is central board of secondary education, so it is of central level board and this board have their own syllabus, fees structure, method and motive of education.

Re: What is the difference between UP and CBSE board?

1. Uttar Pradesh Board of Education is a state board and other hand CBSE is Central Board of Secondary Education. As compared to UP board, CBSE is far better in academics, syllabus, marking scheme, transparency etc.

2. Subjects are same at secondary and senior secondary level. Some topics of syllabus may differ.

3. It is always advisable to do 10th and 12 th from CBSE.

Re: What is the difference between UP and CBSE board?

First thing I would like to let you know that UPMSP ( Uttar Pradesh Madhymik Shiksha Parishad ) and it is the state board of education which is managed by UP government where as CBSE refers to Central Board of Secondary Education and same is national board of education managed by Central government of India.

Now as far as you are concerned about the different in syllabus of UPMSP and CBSE then I would like to let you know that it is almost same as each board of education follows the syllabus structured by NCERT. Further as far as you concerned about the availability of subjects then as per my knowledge CBSE offers more choices as compared to UPMSP.

At last I would like to mention here that in my regards CBSE is better as compared to UPMSP or any other state board of education as its academic style is more modern as keeps on updating with the demand of era.
