Re: Am I eligible to do directly M.Pharma after completing D.Pharm?

The minimum eligibility for this course is a degree in Bachelor in Pharmacy program with a recommended minimum score of 50%. An entrance exam is the preferred mode of admission by most colleges for this course. Most of the colleges accept the score of entrance test like Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).
So D. pharma does not come under recognised eligibility criteria.

The eligibility criteria for Master's degree in Pharmacy is as below:

1. You must have done Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a AICTE and PCI recognized college. Final year graduation candidates can also apply.

2. You need to have minimum of 55% marks in B.Pharma to apply for this course.

Diploma in Pharmacy candidates are not eligible for Master of Pharmacy.

Let me tell you that to pursue Master’s in Pharmacy you need to complete B.Pharma or any other degree equivalent to graduation. D.Pharm is a diploma course which is equivalent to Intermediate.
You need to complete graduation firstly to pursue M.Pharma.

No, you are not eligible to do M.Pharma directly after completion of your D.Pharma course. To be eligible to pursue M.Pharma course, you should have passed Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognised university. Candidates who have passed B.Pharmacy course from a Government recognised university are eligible to pursue M.Pharmacy course.

According to the eligibility criteria, a candidate must have completed graduated course in pharmacy to pursue M Pharmacy. So you have to pursue BSc in pharmacy after completion of your diploma in pharmacy because only then you will be eligible for M Pharmacy. And if you want a seat in government college then you have to qualify the entrance exam.
