I have 88.97% In diploma but due to some circumstances I took admission in WCEN in non cap roud but I am not comfortable with the college. Re: Procedure to change the college in second year of engineering? You can change your college after your second year. The other college has to be from the same university itself under which you are currently studying. First of all you need to get no dues from your original college and ask for the seat availability in the new college. If everything is fine you can start the procedure by paying the fee of new college. |

But make sure that your new college will also affiliated with the same university. To change your college you have to visit to new college in which you want to get admission . You have to talk to them about the eligibility criteria for getting admission. You have to clear all the fee dues of your college and you must have good percentage in your 1st year of engineering. |

Yes, candidates are eligible to change the college in second year of engineering course but only with in the colleges of same university. To get admission in another college you have to take transfer certificate from one in which you are pursuing and submit it to another in which you want to get admission. So, it is necessary that both the colleges give you permission of taking admission and giving you transfer certificate |

Re: Procedure to change the college in second year of engineering? Yes you can change college during 2nd year of engineering universities accept transfer students. To get a better college you need good grade points in marks. For transfer you have to directly apply to college administration and take transfer letter with the signature of your head of Institution. Mostly you can get a transfer form in the month of January. Rules for transfer:- Branch transfer will not be accorded under any circumstances. If you are studying in government / Aided / constituent colleges of University then you will be considered for transfer only to government / Aided/ constituent college of University. Students studying in self financing engineering colleges will be considered for transfer to another self financing engineering college only. |

Re: Procedure to change the college in second year of engineering? There are some college is which may consider your marks but there is no such special criteria given. What you can do is you can ask the college authorities in which you want to take admission into. You can join other college by appearing for entrance exam again but you will lose 1 year which is not recommended. Instead search for the college which considered the second year admission. Moreover you can also apply for migration if the college authority is allowed to do so. |

Re: Procedure to change the college in second year of engineering? It is possible to change the college in the 2nd year of Engineering college. But the college which you are going to join should also be of the same university. If you would like to join in a college which belongs to different university, then it is not possible. Few things required for this activity are : -Your current college should be ready to give you the Transfer certificate. If this transfer certificate is not there, the new college won't give your admission. -To get the Transfer certificate from the college, you should have a strong reason for the same. Otherwise, they won't give you. Some colleges will charge certain amount of money also from the candidates to give Transfer Certificate. -There should be availability of seat in the new college. -For this you have to check with the college management and get their acceptance to accept you into 2nd year of Engineering. -You need to fill the required documents in the new college and should also pay the prescribed fee. I am not sure of the reasons for your discomfort in the current college. Ensure you won't face the same discomfort in the new college also. |

To be eligible to get Bachelor's degree certificate, you have to pursue complete four years Engineering course from a Government recognised university. In case, if you are not interested to pursue your higher studies from the present college, you can discontinue from the course and you can take fresh admission in first year of four years Engineering course. |

But for changing college, this facility is provided only in few colleges. So, you must contact the registrar of your Institute for changing your college from one to another one. |

This process is possible only if the college affiliation is same and your new college comes under same university. For changing you need to follow few process which is mentioned below in detail. Procedure: - You should have any backlogs or any pending fees and you should have very fair percentage. - You need to visit your new college and ask for the eligibility requirements then if you fulfil the requirements then you can get admission for 3rd year of engineering degree. - You need take NOC (No Objection Certificate) from your old college and take all your documents and submit them in the new college. |
