It's Nice to see that you're interested to become aeronautical engineer. It's not easy to become a aeronautical engineer. You have to work hard upon it. And Concentration and Innovative thinking need to become a successful aeronautical engineering.

To become a aeronautical engineer you have to apply for B..Tech or B.E in aeronautical engineer course.

To apply for aeronautical engineer course, then should you should passed in H.Sc (academic) or Equivalent qualification with ( Physics, Chemistry, and Biology ) as main subject from recognized university.

Applicant required to score minimum 50% Percentage of marks in 12th standard.

At present you're 11th Standard student, With this qualification you're not applicable for this Course. You need complete 12th standard in order to apply for B.tech or B.E aeronautical engineer course.

And Only science stream candidates are eligible for aeronautical engineer. But, since you have not mention you specialization, which is very important to become a aeronautical engineer.

So, If you're belong science stream student then definitely eligible to apply for B.tech or B.E aeronautical engineer course.

Apart from this educational qualification, It's necessary that you should take part in Engineering Entrance Examination score good percentage of marks in Entrance Examination.

You may take part in Entrance Examinations like, IIT-JEE, BITSAT etc.. and Every Institution and reputed Institution may also conduct entrance Examination within the Colleges based on the Entrance Examination.

Basically, Entrance Examination is Objective type with Multiple choice. The Question may asked in the field like, Physics, Chemistry and Biology etc..

So, If you're belong science stream then I suggest you to continue you're studies. After Completing you're 12th Standard. Apply for B.tech /B.E aeronautical engineer course and Don't forget to prepare for Engineering Entrance Examination which is very important to get admission for this B.E/B.Tech engineering course.

Aeronautical Engineering deals with design and maintenance of the aircraft. It deals in designing fighter jets, helicopters, commercial aircrafts and all the other flying objects that do not leave the atmosphere of the earth.

Since you are in 11th standard, please ensure that you have chosen Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and the subjects. If you haven't then you will not be allowed to apply for the Engineering course.

It is important that you finish 12th with PCM subjects for Engineering course. Once you have completed 12th standard you will become eligible to appear for the entrance exams to get admission.

You will not get admission for B.Tech without appearing for the entrance exam. Therefore you should be prepared for it.

You should appear for the Joint Entrance Exam to get admission. It is a new exam introduced in 2013 that has replaced AIEEE and IIT-JEE. The exam has two stages. While JEE Mains is the replacement of AIEEE, JEE Advanced is conducted for IITs.

JEE Eligibility

1. You will first have to complete Class 12th.

2. Must have PCM subjects as mentioned earlier.

3. Diploma holders are also eligible to apply.

4. There is no minimum marks requirement.

5. You need to be less than 25 years old.

6. SC/ST can apply up to 30 years.

7. 3 consecutive attempts per candidate is given.

The first exam conducted is JEE Mains. The top 150,000 are eligible to go ahead and sit for JEE Advanced. Although it is not mandatory. JEE Advanced is conducted only to get admission in Indian Institutes of Technology.

You need to pursue B.E/B.Tech degree in Aeronautical Engineering to take up the role of Aeronautical Engineer. For this you must have completed 12th class studies in science stream. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics must form part of HSC studies. Moreover, you must qualify entrance exams like IIT JEE or MHT CET. Age of the candidate must be between 17 and 25 years.
