Eligibility criteria for B.com: Candidates should have 12th in commerce stream/medical/non-medical stream from a recognized university. As you are not eligible to apply for B.Com, there a course of B.Sc in home science after 12th in home science. Re: Am I eligible to do B.Com after completion of 12th home science? Yes, you are eligible to do B.Com after 12th from home science stream. Institutes and colleges admit candidates even they are from Science stream to fill their seats. But if you have studied 12th from Commerce stream, then it would be fruitful for you to grasp concepts of B.Com. Because, subjects of B.Com are purely based on Commerce subjects of 12th. Accountancy, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, Economics are the base subjects of B.Com that are taught in 12th Commerce stream also. |

Re: Am I eligible to do B.Com after completion of 12th home science? No, you cannot get admission in Bachelor in Commerce after completion of 12th with home science. The eligibility to get admission in B.Com course is :- Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board. Candidate must have passed 12th with Science or Commerce stream. For detail information regarding the other eligibility for admission in any particular university visit at official website of respective university. |

The eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Commerce: Academic qualification: You should have studied either science stream or commerce stream in senior secondary board examination to pursue Bachelor's degree in commerce. For admission in top college of Bachelor's degree of commerce, you should have good percentage of marks in bachelor's degree of commerce. Home science students are not eligible for Bachelor of Commerce. |

The common eligibility to get admission in the course is candidate must have passed 12th with Commerce stream or with Science stream. So, you are not eligible to get admission in B.Com in a recognised university. |
