National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted for admission in the MBBS & BDS courses. It is national level medical entrance exam conducted by the CBSE. It is conducted once in a year in the month of May.

This exam is of 720 marks.

Here is cut off NEET exam in 2017:

Re: What is the MBBS cut off to get admission in merit list?

Cut off is not constant and changed every year.

And also the cut off marks are not same every year for each college.

But one common thing is,

For General category - The cut off is high.

They need to score more for admission in good college.

For SC or ST category - The cut off is low.

Though they don't score more, they can get admission in decent college.

Re: What is the MBBS cut off to get admission in merit list?

The full form of MBBS is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

MBBS and BDS admission are done on NEET scorecard.

This year qualifying cut off marks was 130 for general candidates and 107 for reserved candidates. But just scoring more than these cut off marks will not help in securing admission in MBBS course.

General candidates should score more than 480 marks as per previous year trends. Higher is marks better is chance of getting admission in good college.

MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. The admission in MBBS is given on basis of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. The minimum academic qualification required to apply for NEET exam is that candidate should have done 10+2 with PCB subjects. In 10+2, you need to have at least 50% marks.

The cut off for qualifying exam is low around 150 marks out of 720 marks. But for getting a seat in MBBS requires minimum of 500 marks plus out of 720 to get admission in good medical college. Your aim should be to score as much as possible.
