The eligibility criteria to apply for IT officer exam is as follows- A candidate must be graduated with any discipline. A candidate must have minimum 21 years of age and maximum 30 years of age. A candidate must be an Indian citizen. You can apply for IT officer exam through IBPS and SBI. IBPS conducts various exam for Banks. The exam conducts in two modes- Prelims and Mains. |

Yes, distance education qualification is valid to appear in entrance examination for recruitment as an IT officer. The notification for IBPS SO examination is released. The eligibility to appear for IT Officer is that candidate must have passed bachelor in technology in IT/EC/CS/EE etc or have post graduation degree in Computer Application. The age limit is 20-30 years with relaxation in upper age limit to appear in examination. So, you can appear in examination and after qualifying in examination will be eligible for recruitment. SO ( Specialist Officer ) entrance examination is conducted by IBPS and SBI for recruitment in nationalised banks. Candidates who have passed master degree in computer application from a recognised university ( regular or distance ) are eligible to appear in examination. The age limit is 20-30 years with relaxation in upper limit for reserved category. For detail information about examination visit at www.ibps.in or www.sbi.co.in. |

Yes, you are eligible to appear in Specialist officer entrance examination conducted for recruitment in banking jobs. Candidates with post graduation degree in computer application from a recognised university are eligible to appear in examination. |
