Re: What is the correct age for giving 10th standard SSC board exams? There is only minimum age limit criteria has been defined by CBSE , ISC or other state boards of India for class 10th. A candidate must have minimum 14 years of age to give class 10th exam. There is no any any Maximum age limit criteria defined by educational boards. A candidate who is below 14 years of age is not allowed to give class 10th exam. |

Re: What is the correct age for giving 10th standard SSC board exams? According to the CBSE, the minimum age a candidate should acquire is 5 years at the time he passes 1st standard. So, it becomes 15 years minimum at the time of passing 10th standard. You have to be 15 years at least at the time you appear in the 10th exam. |

But according to my knowledge one can write 10th Board exams after completing their 14 years. You can calculate on the basis of your Date of Birth that you are completing 14 years or not. if you have completed it then you are eligible to write 10th board exams otherwise not. |

It is the Directorate of State Education Board who declares the age limit to appear in examination in that particular state. So, kindly visit at its official website for detail. There is no any official announcement of age limit by CBSE, ICSE and other recognised board. |

First thing I would like to let you know that the actual minimum age for appearing in Class 10th board examination is different for different board of education and hence without knowing your board of education it is difficult to provide you exact details regarding the same. But for an idea I would like to let you know that the minimum age for appearing in Class 10th board examination is 14 years and 6 months by the time of board examination in case of most of the state board of examinations. |

The minimum age limit to appear in examination is decided by the directorate of state education board. So, to get detail about the minimum age limit to appear in examination visit at respective office or its official website. |

Candidates who have passed 9th standard and those who are pursuing 10th standard are eligible to apply for 10th standard board examinations. So, if you are pursuing 10th standard in this academic year then, you can apply for 10th standard board examinations. |
