MPSC stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission.

The eligibility criteria for MPSC exam is:

Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized stream.

The age limit for exam is 19-33 years.

There is no limit on number of attempts for this exam. You can apply till your upper age limit.

MPSC refers to Maharashtra Public Service Commission and MPSC examination is held for recruitment of administrative officers in Maharashtra.

--> The minimum qualifications required for appearing in the same examination are as here under :-

* You must be an Indian citizen.

* Your age must lie within 19 years to 33 years if you belong to general category. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

* You must have either completed your graduation degree course or must be in the final year of same degree course with any subject from a recognized university.

Further as far as you are worried about the number of attempts allowed for appearing in MPSC examination then for your information I would like to let you know that there is no such limit and one appear till he/she satisfies the required eligibility criteria for appearing in the same examination.

MPSC examination is conducted every year. The examination is conducted for recruitment of officer in the Maharashtra service.

The eligibility to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

The age limit to appear in examination is 19-33 years for general category candidates.

So, general candidates can appear in examination between 19-33 years without any limitation on number of attempts for examination.

There is no limit on the number of attempts in the MPSC.

However there is a age limit.

The maximum age for :

General candidates is 32 years.
Reserved Categories : 32+5 = 37 years.

You can give the MPSC any number of times under this age.

MPSC has not stated any number of attempts or limits to appear for MPSC Exam.

So, the candidate can appear for MPSC Exam if his age is satisfying the age criteria set by MPSC.

To appear for MPSC exam,
  • Age of the candidate must be at least 19 years and not higher than 33 years.
  • 5 years of relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC), state/national level sports player, defence services candidates.
  • Disabled candidates can apply for MPSC Exam upto the age of 45 years.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts to apply for MPSC examination. You can apply for MPSC examination till you reach the maximum age limit required to appear in MPSC examination. The age criteria required to apply for MPSC examination is 19 to 33 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules. You should have passed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a Government recognised university to be eligible to appear in MPSC examination.

How many times are we allowed to apply for MPSC examination? Can someone please let me know the right information on the same? What are the minimum criteria followed? Can someone please answer me back soon as possible on the same. Thanks!
