#The minimum educational qualification required to join in B.A JOURNALISM is 12 th standard or intermediate from recognised institution.
#And the respective colleges which offer this course will conduct the entrance exam and shortlist the candidates from entrance test.
#And B.A JOURNALISM course is of 3 years duration and very less colleges offer this course.

B.A Journalism stands for Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. The duration of B.A Journalism course is three years. To be eligible to pursue B.A Journalism course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination in any stream from a Government recognised board. No specific percentage is required for getting admission in B.A Journalism course, but it is best to have at least 60% aggregate marks in your 12th standard to get admission in best college for pursuing B.A Journalism course.

The minimum required aggregate to appear in entrance examination for admission in journalism course is 50% there is relaxation in aggregate for reserved category.

So, candidates passed 12th with minimum 50% are eligible to appear in entrance examination to get admission in B.A Journalism course.

It will be of three year duration.

B.A in Journalism is three year undergraduate course. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 are eligible for admission.

The common eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board in any stream. The minimum required to appear in entrance examination for admission is 50% which varies sometimes for some institutes.

As far as you are concerned about the minimum educational qualification required for pursuing BA ( Bachelor of Arts ) in Journalism then it is Class 12th passed in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized board.

Further for pursuing the same course from top universities like Banaras Hindu University, ( BHU), University of Delhi ( DU ), etc. you need to qualify there entrance examination and for details and updates regarding these examinations you can refer to their respective official links which are www.bhuonline.in , www.du.ac.in .

Eligibility criteria required for BA in Journalism and these are as follows:-
Candidate must have cleared their 10+2 or any equivalent exam from a recognized university or college.
Candidate must have scored a minimum 50% aggregate with English as a subject.
SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% in minimum aggregate.

No, no one can determine the actual cutoff marks or rank before the result comes out.

it solely depends upon the following factors :

* The demand of the course.
* The number of seats available.
* The number of applications came for the course.

So, you will know it once you attend the counseling.

Minimum percentage of marks required in 12th: 50%.

Higher is percentage of marks in 12th, better is chance of getting admission in Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.

The eligibility required for studying this course is to complete 10+2 or its equivalent education in any stream from any recognised board. The percentage required may vary from state to state and university to university. In general the minimum percentage required is 50%.

Admission is conducted after qualifying in the admission entrance test. The entrance test includes written as well as personal interview.

No specific percentage in 12th standard is required to apply for admission to B.A in Journalism course. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination in any stream from a Government recognised board are eligible to apply for admission to B.A course. Admissions in B.A Journalism course are done through merit basis of 12th standard board examination marks or through entrance examination/ admission test conducted by the respective college/ university.

Student must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board with English as compulsory subject.

Although there is no such specific percentage of marks set but good colleges accept admission of candidates with higher percentage of marks in 10+2.

How much percentage is required in 12th to apply for BA in Journalism? Can you please provide me with the minimum qualification which is needed? It will be really helpful if you can answer me back soon on this. Awaiting to get the response. Thanks!
