To be eligible to pursue B.A Journalism course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination in any stream from a Government recognised board. No specific percentage is required for getting admission in B.A Journalism course, but it is best to have at least 60% aggregate marks in your 12th standard to get admission in best college for pursuing B.A Journalism course. |

The minimum required aggregate to appear in entrance examination for admission in journalism course is 50% there is relaxation in aggregate for reserved category. So, candidates passed 12th with minimum 50% are eligible to appear in entrance examination to get admission in B.A Journalism course. It will be of three year duration. |

The common eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board in any stream. The minimum required to appear in entrance examination for admission is 50% which varies sometimes for some institutes. As far as you are concerned about the minimum educational qualification required for pursuing BA ( Bachelor of Arts ) in Journalism then it is Class 12th passed in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized board. Further for pursuing the same course from top universities like Banaras Hindu University, ( BHU), University of Delhi ( DU ), etc. you need to qualify there entrance examination and for details and updates regarding these examinations you can refer to their respective official links which are www.bhuonline.in , www.du.ac.in . |

Eligibility criteria required for BA in Journalism and these are as follows:- Candidate must have cleared their 10+2 or any equivalent exam from a recognized university or college. Candidate must have scored a minimum 50% aggregate with English as a subject. SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% in minimum aggregate. |
