Hello, Vardhaneswar As you have already said that you are eligible for the State LEET examinations through which you can pursue B.Tech from your state or other, Apart from that there are many options available for you as Follows. 1. You can appear for the JEE Exams conducted by CBSE every year. JEE exams are Constituted by two Exams JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. Those who Qualify in JEE Mains are only eligible for JEE Advanced. After Qualifying these Exams you will be able to get Admission in the reputed NITs and IITs and other participating best Engineering Colleges. However, If you want to turn a another way you can also B.tech certification program via distance mode by the IEI (The Institutions of Engineers, India). It is recognized by Ministry of Science and Technology( Govt. of India) |

After completing diploma course in engineering, you are eligible for the B.tech courses. You can join B.tech through LEET. After 12th standard you can also join B.tech courses. The total duration of B.tech course after 12th is years while 3 years after diploma course. So you can choose one of them. |

To be eligible to pursue B.Tech course, you should have passed 12th standard with PCM stream or three years Diploma in Engineering course from a recognised board/ institute. Being a Diploma in Engineer holder, you can get direct admission in second year of four years Engineering course through lateral entry admission process by appearing and qualifying the lateral entry examinations like LEET, JELET, ECET, etc.,. If you qualify the entrance examination, you will be called for the counselling process according to your examination rank and you will be allotted a seat in a particular college for pursuing B.Tech course. |

Other than Lateral Entry Entrance Test, you can apply for Joint Entrance Examination Advanced stage exam for admission in Bachelor of Technology in Indian Institute of Technology. Diploma candidates after completion of diploma can apply in year in which they complete diploma and year next to it. |

So, after completion of diploma course you can appear in LEET examination conducted by various institutes for admission in course. Candidates will get admission in 2nd year of course through lateral entry scheme. yes, you are not eligible to appear in entrance examination to get admission in state government colleges of other state. |

The private engineering colleges conduct their own entrance exam for admission in Bachelor of technology for diploma candidates. You can visit official website of college in which you are interested to take admission. You can also apply for Joint Entrance Examination Advanced stage to get admission in Indian Institute of Technology. IITs are the best institutes for pursuing bachelor of technology. |

Re: What are the ways available to join B.Tech after completion of diploma course? B.Tech program allows Diploma holder students to take admission directly into 2nd year of engineering course. You need to pursue at least 3 year Diploma course after 10th. Some colleges take admission through lateral entry exams like Joint Entrance Examination of Lateral entry (JELET), Diploma to Degree Entrance Competitive exam, etc. You need to qualify it to get admission. Some colleges conducts their own entrance test for getting entry. |

Joint Entrance Examination Advanced stage. You can apply for either of entrance exams to get admission in Bachelor of Technology. |

After diploma course candidates interested in getting admission in B.Tech course have to appear and qualify in LEET ( Lateral Entry Entrance Test ). The entrance test is conducted by private institutes as well as by state government for admission in colleges of respective state. Candidates after qualifying in examination will become eligible to get admission in 2nd year of B.Tech course. The common eligibility to appear in most of state government college is that :- Candidate must have passed diploma from institute of that particular state or have domicile of the state. So, if you do not have anyone of the qualification you will be not eligible to get admission in government colleges of other state. |

Re: What are the ways available to join B.Tech after completion of diploma course? Other than LEET examination there is no other option to get admission in B.Tech course after diploma. There is no entrance examination at national level to get admission in the course. The examination is conducted by state education board and private institutes for admission in the course. So, you are not eligible to get admission in the government colleges of different states ( except few ). |

Diploma candidates can get admission in Bachelor of Technology either through Lateral Entry Entrance Test or Joint Entrance Examination. JEE is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for admission in top engineering colleges of India like IITs, NITs and other government engineering colleges. You are eligible for JEE Advanced stage for admission in IITs. Diploma candidates who have 60% marks or more in diploma are also eligible for Lateral Entry Entrance test exam of their state. On basis of scorecard of this exam, they can get admission directly in second year of engineering. |

To get admission for pursuing B.Tech course after completion of your Diploma course, you have to appear in lateral entry examinations like LEET, ECET, JELET, etc., which is conducted by your respective state technical board of education. You have to appear and qualify the entrance examination and participate in the counselling process to get a seat in a particular college for pursuing B.Tech course. |

Diploma candidates are also eligible for Joint Entrance Examination Advanced for getting admission in top notch engineering colleges of India called Indian Institute of Technology. Your rank in JEE should be decent to get into IITs for B.Tech. In case of Lateral Entry Entrance Test, percentage of marks in diploma should be minimum of 60%. LEET will help you to get admission directly in second year of engineering. |

What are the ways available to join B.Tech after completion of diploma course? Sir/Mam, I'm pursuing my diploma final year. I had an eligibility to write LEET exam to get admission in engineering colleges in my state but other than LEET exam what are the exams are there to get admission in engineering colleges in other states. Can you please reply? Thanks. |
