UGC NET is University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test. You can apply for paper code 55 in UGC NET exam. The eligibility criteria for NET exam:

~Master's degree in any stream from a recognized university.

~At least 55% marks in master's degree is required to apply for UGC NET exam.

~There is no upper age limit for the Lectureship but is 28 years for Junior Research Fellowship.

Re: Am I eligible for UGC NET exam paper code 55 after completion of MSW in HR?

Yes you are eligible for appearing in CBSE NET/ JRF exam. The eligibility criteria in NET/ JRF is post graduation with minimum 55% of marks. So you can apply online. Your decision to do PHD is very impressive. But your PhD will be valuable to you if you qualify NET. Without NET you can't apply for assistant professor, even you have done your PHD. So better to crack NET/ JRF then continue your research work.
