Re: Percentage required in 11th and 12th to join CA? CA stands for Chartered Accountancy. To study CA,you must appear in the entrance exam named CPT(Common Proficiency Test). To eligible for this exam, one need to pass the class 12 exam. So, I want to let you know that there is no notification about the minimum marks obtained in class 11 and 12 . So, whatever marks you obtained in class 11 and class 12 , if you pass the class 12 exam, you are eligible for the CPT exam. |

Re: Percentage required in 11th and 12th to join CA? Basically, CA Course Structure has 3 levels: 1.CA-CPT, 2.CA-IPCC and 3.CA-Final. For completing the CA course a candidate has to pass each level to go to next higher level. CA can be done in 2 ways: 1. CPT entry after class 12(CPT means which means "Common Proficiency Test") 2.Direct entry after There is no minimum percentage that is needed in class 11 and class 12 for doing CA course.Just completion of 10th and +2 is sufficient for doing this course. |

Re: Percentage required in 11th and 12th to join CA? The percentage of marks required to apply for Chartered Accountancy foundation course is just passing percentage of marks in 12th. It is called Common Proficiency Test. CPT is conducted by ICAI two times every year in June and December. You can apply CA CPT examination at official website of ICAI when notification for examination is released. |

As far as you are concerned about the minimum marks required in Class 11th and Class 12th for appearing in Foundation examination of CA ( Chartered Accountancy ) course i.e; CPT ( Common Proficiency Test ) then I would like to let you know that there is no percentage barrier for appearing in CPT and hence any Class 12th passed candidate can apply for CPT for pursuing CA course. |
