Re: Can I start preparing for IAS from class 7th ---Yes,you can start your preparation for IAS from class 7th but minimum qualification required to join IAS is Degree level with minimum of 50-60%Mark's from a recognized board. :- Age not less than 21 years and not more than 28 years :- Mark's as well as age relaxation available for reserved category candidates. --Note:- Must appear the Entrance exam namely as CDS after degree. |

Re: Can I start preparing for IAS from class 7th It's very interesting and I personally soluting your cherish dream and goal like IAS(Indian administrative service) which is very tough exam in India conducted by UPSC(union public service commmison) once in a year. After cracking this exam three raputed and respected post offered by government like. 1. IAS 2. IPS 3. IFS The selection procedure involved three steps. Preliminary exam which is objective in nature. Mains exam which is subjective in nature. Personal interview. Now coming to the topic it's is not necessary that preparation of this exam could start after graduation but you can also prepare since school like 6th standards. some questions in this exam is based on static in nature like History, Geography and English. If you want to start preparing for this exam then decide your subject for mains and focused them accordingly. you will get success in your life Hope this information will help you. |

Re: Can I start preparing for IAS from class 7th My dear sir, I am the student of class 7 i am very much interested in PROVINCIAL CIVIL SERVICES so for this I want to take advice that Is it the correct rime for preparing if yes then tell me what are the basic things should i study? Because if i shall start from this age it will be very easy for me in highr classes So give me advise on which subject should i focus more And tell me some books for preparing Thank you |

Re: Can I start preparing for IAS from class 7th I appreciate your interest of joining in civil services which are the top public services in India. It would be better to prepare for IAS Exam from 7th class itself. I will encourage it. But the thing is, don't loose concentration towards academics. Give much preference to academics and less preference to IAS preparation at this level. But after joining Graduation, give much attention towards IAS preparation and less preference for academics. In order to be placed in IAS, you should have to crack civil services exam which is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year. You should have completed your Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university in order to be eligible to apply for this Exam. The required age criteria for the candidates will be 21-30 years. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category. You should be a citizen of India to apply for this Exam. The selection procedure would involve Civil Services Aptitude Test Civil Services Main Exam Interview This is the common entrance exam to join several civil services like IAS IPS IFS etc. So, select the subjects for Main Exam and prepare accordingly.
