Re: How much percentage is needed to get in B.Tech? What are the other requirements?

>For all the b.tech entrance exam you should have atleast 60% in the 12th.

>>But IT WILL ALSO DEPEND UPON THE EXAM WHICH YOU WANT TO GIVE.

>>If you give the exams like IIT jEE or AIEEE than you should have atleast 60%.but if you will give the exam like A.M.U or UPSEE than you will have only 50% in 12th.

>.SO last it will totally depend upon the exam which you will give for the B.TECH.but i say you will have Atleast 60% in the 12th.

Re: How much percentage is needed to get in B.Tech? What are the other requirements?

B.Tech stands for Bachelor of technology and as the name suggests it is bachelor degree course of four years after completing one becomes engineer.

The educational required for pursuing the same course is a senior secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects with at least 50% aggregate in each from a recognized board of education. Equivalent degree holder are also eligible.

But to pursue the same course from government college or any top private engineering college to enjoy quality education along with high placements one has to clear engineering entrance examinations like JEE, State EEE, COMED-K, BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMEEE, etc. .

The educational qualification required for appearing in these entrance examination are same as required for B.Tech course but age limit for the same is 17 years to 25 years till the final date of year in which you are appearing for the same examination.

For more details regarding the syllabus, the question pattern and the keydates of the same examinations you can log on to their respective links.

B.Tech stands for the Bachelor of Technology. It is four years undergraduate courses in technology. There are several disciplines in which you can do bachelor of technology like:

Electrical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electronics and Communication engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering etc. You can select the stream as per your interest. For this course a candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

There are various entrance examination conducted for the admission to this course like Joint Entrance examination for IITs, NITs etc. State engineering entrance examination is conducted by state governments. Private Institutions conducts their own entrance exam. You must have minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 to apply for these exam.

It totally depends upon in which university you are going to take admission in abroad for MS. Different universities have different eligibility criteria. On a general note, you must have at least more than 70% aggregate to get admission in good university for MS.

Hi.............,

For admission in B.tech you need
1 To qualify the 10+2 (PCM) with more than 60% approximately.
2 You also must not have any backlogs .
3 Commerce students can not get admission in B.tech
4 Sit in the state level entrance exam by applying online.
5 Good Scores of the entrance exam will help you in getting better college.
6 You can even have the choice of Department during counselling.

Re: How much percentage is needed to get in B.Tech? What are the other requirements?

BTech(Bachelor Of Technology):
The students who want to become an engineer should go for BTech.
The percentage required for getting admission is not fix,it is different for different colleges. However if you want to crack JEE(Joint Entrance Exam),then the minimum percentage requirement is 75%.
The basic requirement for the student to get admission in BTech is that he/she must have PCM(Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics) in his/her 12th standord.
