FOR teaching in Schools Bed is mandatory.

Since you have scored only 48% marks in Graduation, you should apply for the masters degree that is MA.

You can also give MBA written tests like CAT, XAT, MAT.
If you get selected in good MBA college than do MBA

Yes, it is mandatory to have B.Ed qualification to appear for CTET, STET examination for recruitment as teacher in schools.

For candidates who want to get recruitment as lecturer in the college you have to pursue master degree and qualify for NET examination.

For appearing in B.Ed entrance examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree with minimum 50% or master degree with minimum 55%.

So, visit official website of institute from where you want to pursue the course to get detail information.

You can not pursue Bachelor of Education course because you have only 48% marks in bachelor's degree. The minimum percentage of marks for B.Ed course is 50% in bachelor's degree.

If you want to join teaching line then you can pursue master's degree to become eligible for National Eligibility Test for Lectureship.

Only those persons can apply for NET exam who have minimum of 55% marks in master's degree. You can pursue master's degree in commerce or business administration as per your interest.

Re: Which Master level degree course will make me eligible for teaching profession?

Candidates who have done bachelor's degree and Bachelor of Education are eligible to apply for Teacher Eligibility Test to become teacher in government schools.

>>You are graduate but your percentage of marks in bachelor's degree is less than 50% and hence you are not eligible for Bachelor of Education.

>>You can pursue Master's degree in commerce or any other subject or your interest and secure minimum of 55% marks to apply for National Eligibility Test.

NET is conducted by CBSE for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship. The upper age limit for lectureship is not defined but it is 28 years for JRF.
