These are the eligibility criteria for IBPS Clerk exam:- A) Bachelor degree passed in any stream from any reputed university. B) Age limit is 20-28 years. C) Indian Citizenship. |

Re: Am I be eligible for IBPS clerk exam if my age is 28 years? Hello, The minimum age to appear for IBPS Clerk exam is 20 years and the maximum age is 28years. The cutoff date would be 01.09.2018 for couting the age. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1990 andnot later than 01.09.1998. As you have been born before 02.09.1990 so you are not eligible to appear for the exam. But you can apply for the IBPS PO exam since they have 30years age criteria. Good luck. Thanks. |

If you belong to the General category the maximum age is 28 year For OBC 3year age relaxation For Sc 5year age relaxation For ST 5year age relaxation The age count from the date is given in IBPS notifications.... check it properly... |

Re: Am I be eligible for IBPS clerk exam if my age is 28 years? IBPS is Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It conducts entrance examination for recruitment in banking service. The eligibility to appear for Clerk examination is :- Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit is 20-28 years with relaxation in upper limit for reserved category. So, you are not eligible to appear for Clerk examination. A candidate who is even 28 years and one day can not apply for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Common Written examination for Clerical posts. There is three years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates and five years for SC/ST candidates. You have two years left for IBPS PO exam. You can apply for it. |

You have already crossed the upper age limit allowed for open category candidates to apply for clerical exam of IBPS. You can not apply for exam. You are eligible for PO exam as age limit is 20-30 years. No upper age relaxation for open category candidates. |

The age criteria required to apply for IBPS Clerk examination is 20 to 28 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules. Candidates who have passed Diploma/ Degree course from a Government recognised university and those who are in the specified age limit are eligible to apply for IBPS Clerk examination. Since, you have already crossed the maximum age limit required to apply for IBPS Clerk examination, you are not eligible to appear in IBPS Clerk examination. |

Re: Am I be eligible for IBPS clerk exam if my age is 28 years? IBPS conducts common written exams for PO and Clerk. Eligibility criteria for clerk: Candidate must be Graduation pass. Age should be between 20 to 28 years. Maximum age to apply for General Category candidates is 28 years. OBC candidates can apply till the age of 31 years and SC/ST can apply till the age of 33 years. Since your age is already 28 years and you belong to General category, then you cannot apply for the IBPS clerk exam. |

Am I be eligible for IBPS clerk exam if my age is 28 years? My age is 28 years and 4 days. My D.O.B is 1 march 1990. I belong to General category. Am I eligible for IBPS clerk exam 2018? I know that the age limit is 20 years to 28 years, but I am confused that people of 28 years age are eligible to give the exam or not. |
