Re: Is it possible to take direct admission in class 10th CBSE board? No,You can't get admission directly in class 10th in CBSE after 9th in ICSE or any board. If want to take admission in 10th then you have to 9th from same board. |

Re: Is it possible to take direct admission in class 10th CBSE board? I think no,generally a school will not give the direct admission if you haven't special talent. You need to crack the entrance test then you will get admission. |

So, you might get confused and at the end you will be getting lesser marks compared to what you should be getting after your study till class 9th. So as I would suggest you to complete your 10th level of study being a student of ICSE board. Once you finish giving the board examination you can definitely change the board as per your wish. |

Re: Is it possible to take direct admission in class 10th CBSE board? Admissions in 10th standard CBSE Board are done only if there are vacant seats. You have to appear in admission test conducted by the CBSE Board, qualify it to secure admission in 10th standard in CBSE Board. You have to obtain the Transfer/ Migration certificate, Bonafide certificate, etc., from your old school and submit it in the new school along with your 9th standard marks sheet. After completion of the admission process successfully, you will be offered admission in 10th standard in CBSE Board school. |

The eligibility to appear for 10th board exams from Central Board of Secondary Education is as below: Candidate must have registered for board exams from any CBSE affiliated school in class 9th by mentioning subjects in which he/she will like to appear for board exams. Therefore registration is necessary in standard ninth for 10th board exams. You can not get admission directly in class 10th after completion of 9th ICSE board. You must get admission in class 9th in any CBSE affiliated school. |
