For applying to the exam you need to meet few eligibility requirements which are mentioned below:

- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- The educational qualification required is a graduation/ bachelors level degree in any stream from any recognised university.
- The age should be between 21 - 30 years.
- There is 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ ST candidates.
- There is a limit of 4 attempts for general candidates, 7 attempts for OBC candidates and no limits for SC/ ST candidates.

So, firstly complete your 12th class education and join in any graduation/ bachelors level degree. After completing your graduation level degree then apply for Civil service exam conducted by UPSC through online by filling the application form with all the required details and attend the exam.

You cannot directly become a Police Officer after passing 11th. Firstly, you will have to complete 12th standard and then complete your Bachelor course. Then, you can apply for Civil Services Exam (or IAS, IPS exam) to become Indian Police Officer. After CSAT and Mains Exam you will have to face Personal Interview.
