Eligibility criteria for TGT

TGT - Trained Graduate Teacher.

This post is for those who have done the B.Ed

TGT eligibility :-

Candidate must have B.Ed degree with the minimum 55% marks

Candidate have to give the TGT entrance exam.

Candidate age limit 21 years, No upper age limit .

After qualifying this exam they will get the post of TGT.

The eligibility to appear for TGT examination is that :

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

Candidate must have B.Ed qualification.

There is no age limit to appear for CTET examination conducted by CBSE.

CTET and STET examination is conducted for recruitment as teacher in government schools.

The candidates after qualifying for examination will become eligible for recruitment as teacher.

The eligibility to appear in examination for TGT is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree and also have B.Ed degree.

So, you have to pursue B.Ed course after completion of bachelor degree to appear for examination.

It is also necessary to have B.Ed qualification to appear for examination.

Candidates after qualifying for entrance examination will become eligible for recruitment teacher in government schools.

The examination is conducted by CBSE and State Education board.

The eligibility criteria for Trained Graduate Teacher.

Academic qualification:

Bachelor's degree in any stream and Bachelor of Education from a recognized university. Only candidates with qualification can apply for this examination.

If you have done B.Ed course then you can apply for this exam.

The academic qualification required to apply for Trained Graduate Teacher is bachelor's degree from a recognized university and B.Ed or BTC or any other teacher training course. Candidate who meets above criteria can apply for this exam.

So, if you have done B.Ed course earlier then you are eligible to apply for Trained Graduate Teacher examination.

1. Candidate should complete the graduation from any recognized university.

2. There is no need for the minimum percentage of marks.

3. The minimum age limit is 21 years.

4. There is no upper age limit.

5. Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Eligibility criteria for TGT exam:

- One must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks and relaxation of 5% is given to reserved students.

- B.Ed is mandatory.

- Age should not be more than 45 years.

TGT stands for Trained Graduate Teacher.

Minimum required eligibility to apply for TGT:

1. The candidate should posses graduation degree in any discipline with B.Ed degree from a recognized university.

2. The minimum age limit to sit for this exam is 21 years and there is no upper age limit.

3. The selection of candidate is carried out based on their performance in written exam and interview.

TGT stands for Trained Graduate Teacher.

If you have a Graduate and if you must have the B.Ed degree from a recognized university. Then you are eligible to apply for TGT entrance examination.

But make sure that, you must not exceed the age of 35 years along with good academics records.

You must have a adequate knowledge of computers also. If you have clear the entrance exams and interview successfully.

So, first complete your B.Ed degree then you are eligible for TGT.

What are the eligibility criteria to appear for TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) exam?

Well I have completed graduation 1st and 2nd year with Sociology, Ancient History and English and in final year I have had Sociology and Ancient History. So, am I eligible for TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) course?
