Infact, 2 years 10 months age is very low as far as my best knowledge is concerned. There is a certain age criteria applicable for candidates to get admission into concerned schools. >> LKG in ICSE schools - 3 years 10 months >> LKG in other schools - 3 years 6 months or 3 years 8 months Hence, your child has to wait for 1 more year in order to be eligible for getting admission into LKG of concerned school. |

So, kindly visit the respective office of concerned department for detail information regarding the age limit for admission. But the most suitable age for admission is almost 4 years. |

Age limit for LKG is 3 years 6 months to 4 years 6 months. Age limit for UKG is 4 years 6 months to 5 years 6 months. As per your information, your child needs to wait to get admission in LKG. |

As per the information you have mentioned in your query, your son is 2 years 10 months old, so, he is not eligible to get admission in LKG. You need to wait more 8 months to join your child in LKG in any school. |

What should be the minimum age for admission in LKG? My child is 2 years 10 months old. Can I get him admitted in Lower Kindergarten i.e. LKG? Or, he needs to wait more? What should be the idle age? |
