You can change board as per interest and capability. If you have completed 10th from NIOS board then also you can continue 10+2 from any other board. |

NIOS is a recognised board and candidates passed 10th from a recognised board are eligible to get admission in 11th std. You can select the stream as per your interest. The available options are :- Science, Arts, Commerce etc. |

You can definitely apply for High school under CBSE board after having passed 10th from National Institute of Open Schooling. The criteria for admission in 11th CBSE is that student must be secondary school passed from a recognized board. NIOS is a central government recognized board. You can visit any CBSE affiliated school and seek admission with marksheet of tenth, proof of address, transfer certificate etc. Admission in schools are done based on percentage of marks in 10th and streams are alloted according to it. |

Candidates passed 10th from a recognised board are eligible to get admission in CBSE. Note :- NIOS is a recognised board under Ministry of HRD. |

The basic eligibility required for getting admission for 11th class in CBSE board is a 10th class from any recognised board like ICSE/ NIOS/ any state board. Since you have studied 10th from NIOS you can get admission for 11th class in CBSE. The admission process is given below: - You need to first visit the school directly and ask for application form. - Fill the application form with all the required details. - You need to submit few documents like transfer certificate, birth certificate and 10th class marks sheet. Based on your performance you'll be given admission into 11th class in CBSE. |

The eligibility criteria to get admission in 11th standard is that student must have passed tenth from a recognized board. National Institute of Open Schooling is a recognized board for 10th and 12th. You can get admission in 11th standard under CBSE board after having passed 10th from NIOS board. You can select any stream of your choice from available list like Arts, Science or commerce. |

You must have to choose stream as per your interest. Choose only that subject/stream which will be easy to study as well as easy to understand. Can I apply for High Schooling under CBSE board having passed 10th from NIOS board? I got 98% in 8th grade from CBSE board, due to some personal reason I wasn't able to give 9th exams and ended up giving 10th exams from NIOS board. Now I got 62% due to gap and not getting good coaching etc. Now, can I take admission in 11th under CBSE board again? If yes, then which field should I choose now? |
