Re: How can I become a police officer(ACP)? Hi, if you want to become an ACP then you will have to join IPS exam through UPSC. After step by step you can become an ACP. So that according to below criteria you can join IPS exam:- Eligibility Criteria:- 1. Should be graduate from recognized university. 2. Age should be for General :- 21-30 yrs. OBC :- 21-33 yrs. SC/ST :- 21-35 yrs. 3. Should be citizen of India. 4. Male or Female both can apply. If you want to know more details visit www.upsc.gov.in All the best................. |

To become ACP(Assistant Commissioner of Police), one has to get in to IPS(Indian Police Service) for which one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam, being conducted once every year by UPSC. The eligible candidate aspiring for IPS, Civil Service Exam, must be an Indian National having either appear for final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Physical and mental Fitness along with minimum physical requirement as prescribed. The selection is through three Phases:- -CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test - Preliminary Exam -Civil Service Main Exam -Personal Interview For more information you may log on to http://www.upsc.gov.in |
