Re: Is it possible to pursue B.Ed directly after passing out 2nd PUC?

Being a student of Class 12th you are not eligible to pursue B.Ed ( Bachelor of Education ) degree course directly after your Class 12th as the minimum education required for pursuing B.Ed degree course is a bachelor degree with at least 50% marks in any discipline from a recognised university.

But, you can opt for D.El.Ed ( Diploma in Elementary Education ) degree course after your Class 12th after pursuing which you can become teacher upto Class 5.

Re: Is it possible to pursue B.Ed directly after passing out 2nd PUC?

B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education and it is a professional teacher training course of two years for which the minimum education required is a bachelor degree in Humanities/ Science/ Commerce stream with at least 50% marks from a recognised university. In case of technical degree holder, the minimum percentage of marks required is 55%.

So, you are not eligible to pursue B.Ed degree course unless you pursue a graduation degree after completion of your Class 12th.

For admission in B.Ed course it is mandatory to have passed bachelor course from a recognised university.

So, you are not eligible to appear in examination with 12th qualification.

You will become eligible to appear in examination only after completion of B.Ed course.

B.Ed is Bachelor in Education. It is compulsory to have B.Ed or other education degree if you want to become teacher in government school.

The eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university with minimum 50%.

For reserved category candidate must have scored minimum 45%.

Admission in institutes and colleges are conducted on the basis of entrance examination or merit basis.

Is it possible to pursue B.Ed directly after passing out 2nd PUC?

I will be completing my 2nd Pre-University Course (PUC) i.e. 12th board exam soon. After this, will I be allowed to pursue B.Ed directly? Or, having graduation in any stream is compulsory?
