Hello,
The upsc conducted Cse examination has a maximum age limit of 32 for general candidates and 35 for the candidates belonging to the obc category with 9 attempts for them.
As you are already 35, apparently you won't be eligible for the exam next year. Sorry

Civil Service Examination is conducted for recruitment as an I.A.S, I.P.S, I.F.S officer.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit is 21-32 years but there is relaxation in upper age limit of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

So, if your age is 35 years in 2018, then you are not eligible to appear in the examination next year. Examination is conducted in three stages. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

The upper age limit to apply for Civil Services examination:

1. General category candidates: 21-32 years.

2. OBC candidates: 21-35 years.

3. SC/ST candidates: 21-37 years.

If you are from OBC and already 35 years then you have no attempts left as age is calculated on 1st August,2018.

Being a Central Government employee and belonging to OBC category candidate, you are eligible for appearing in the IAS examination i.e; the Civil Services examination held by UPSC once every year upto the age of 45 years as per the age relaxation policy for reserved category candidates and central government employee.

Further, I would like to let you know is that the maximum attempt allowed for OBC category candidates is 9 and therefore you can appear in the Civil Services examination 9 times and upto the age of 45 years.

For more detailed information regarding the Civil Services examination, you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in.
