Re: How to become a Mechanical Engineer with technical stream (PCM) in Intermediate?

To become a Mechanical Engineer, you are required to pursue B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) degree course in Mechanical engineering discipline from a recognised technical institute.

Also, the minimum education required to pursue B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, the minimum education required is a Class 12th with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects from a recognised board.

So, in order to become a mechanical engineer in future, you need to opt for PCM group for your Class 12th studies., You can even opt for Diploma in Mechanical engineering degree course in order to pursue B.Tech degree in Mechanical engineering later.

Further, for pursuing the same degree course from technical college, you need to qualify entrance examinations such as JEE, State CET/EEE, BITSAT, SRMEEE, etc..

You are eligible to get admission in Mechanical stream.

The common required qualification to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed 12th in PCM.

You can appear for JEE and other examination to get admission in some of the premier institutes for pursuing the course.
