The upper limit of 30 is yet in question as the case is withheld by the honourable Suprime Court. Let's hope that the age bar is removed !!

LLB will remain a 3 years long graduation course regardless of you have done graduation or the post graduation. Since you have completed Master of Business Administration it is possible to apply for LLB but no change in duration.

Therefore you may have to quit the job to apply for this course or perhaps take admission in the evening college. But it would be necessary to pursue LLB through regular mode.

Coming to last part of your question, the LLB course is not offered as for now through distance education. The law course which is offered is not recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Therefore it makes no sense to apply for such course which is not acceptable to the Bar Council of India. You will not be able to practice in the court with distance education degree.

So the bottom line is that if you want to pursue LLB, it will have to be done through regular mode and not distance education mode.

Eligibility

1. Minimum of graduation degree.

2. At least 45 percent marks in it.

3. In case of SC/ST only 40 percent marks are required.

4. Your age can not be more than 30 years to apply.

5. There is 5 years relaxation for SC/ST.

6. There is no exemption for OBC in LLB course.
