For applying to this post you must be able to fill an important column of age i.e., limited to maximum of 25 years of age i.e., as on 01-04-2011 you should have less than or equal to 25 years of age. then only you are eligible for applying this post. This is a official information released to press by BEL on 26th april. and one more important thing is the age limit is relaxed for reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWD and all For SC/ST Max age limit is relaxed upto 5 years for OBC Max age limit is relaxed upto 3 years For PWD max age limit is relaxed upto 5 years. Re: Can I apply for BEL probationary engineering if I am 25 years old? the eligibility criteria for the BEL probationary engineers is :: For PEs(probationary engineers), First class in Engineering Degree from AICTE approved Colleges / recognised Universities in Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Communication / Telecommunication / Mechanical / Computer Science / Computer Science and Engineering/Civil Engineering/Chemical Engineering. Candidates with AMIE / GIETE in the above specializations should have secured first class. AGE LIMIT: The maximum age limit for General candidates will be 25 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. In respect of PWD candidates upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years. In respect of PWD candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category, the age relaxation admissible will be over and above the relaxation admissible for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC. For candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for General candidates, 8 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for SC/ST candidates. Relaxation will be extended as per Govt. guidelines in respect of Ex-Serviceman so as your age is 25 years so you can definitely apply for the BEL probationary engineering post for other details refer the website::http://www.bel-india.com |

Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. so you are positively eligible but only this year so hurry up as you are already 25 all the best |

The maximum age limit for General candidates as on 01.04.2011 will be 25 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. Hello, I think you are eligible for this post as the age limit will be 25 years, this criteria is for general candidate and for SC/ST/OBC there will be 5% relaxation. Re: Can I apply for BEL probationary engineering if I am 25 years old? no you can not apply for BEL examination. for BEL you should have maximum of age 25 years as on 1.4.2011. that means candidates born before the 1.4.1986 are not eligible for BEL probationary engineering examination. you have born before that. so you can not apply for the examination if you are general category candidate. but if you are from any reserved candidate then you are eligible. http://www.bel-india.com/ |
