If you have completed your BSc nursing degree course and now you want to pursue MBBS course then the duration will be same and that is 5 years and 6 months because there is no relaxation to the BSc nursing students to pursue MBBS. |

Re: Duration of MBBS course for a candidate after completing BSc(Nursing)? MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. The duration of MBBS after B. Sc. in nursing will remain same as after 10+2. The duration of MBBS course is 5.5 years including 4.5 years of classroom study and 1 year is rotating internship. |

Re: Duration of MBBS course for a candidate after completing BSc(Nursing)? Hello Dear, You can study MBBS after completing BSc course in Nursing. But you have to keep mind that there is no lateral entry scheme for MBBS course who have done B.Sc. course in Nursing. You will have to take admission in MBBS course as a regular candidate. The duration of MBBS course in India is 5.5 years including 1-year of compulsory rotatory internship. Doing B.Sc Nursing would not reduce the duration of MBBS. |
