Can we prepare for PO after 12th or is it compulsory to do graduation?? Moreover if graduation is compulsory then in which all subjects a commerce student should have while preparing for d exam??

You need to qualify the selection process of IBPS or the concerned bank to join bank. Graduates in any discipline can apply for IBPS clerk or P.O. Selection process is made through written test and interview. Reasoning, numerical ability, general awareness, and English language are asked for the exam. Applications can be forwarded through the web portal of SBI or IBPS.

Hai,

To get a government job in Banking sector you need to apply IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) Clerk and PO. The details about this exam are given below.

IBPS PO eligibility:-

The applicant must have to complete graduation or any bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

You must be an Indian origin.

Percentage is not required for this exam.

Age limits for PO:-

The age limits for 21 to 30 years,

3years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates,

5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.


IBPS Clerk eligibility:-

The candidate should be complete graduation from a recognised university.

No need of percentage is not required for this exam.

You must be an Indian citizen.


Age criteria:-

The age limits are 21 years to 28 years,

3years age relaxation for OBC candidates,

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Government banks are also known as Public Sector Banks. The procedure to apply for job is that you must appear for entrance exam. Upon clearing you can apply for the job.

Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS) has the duty to conduct entrance exam for 19 Public Sector Banks. These banks participates in two entrance exam from IBPS known as:

IBPS Clerk

IBPS Bank PO

You can appear for any of these if holds a graduation degree. The IBPS Clerk exam is conducted twice in March and some time in October. On the other hand IBPS Bank PO is only conducted once in June.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Services issues a notification regarding the exam. You should read it carefully and follow the procedure mentioned in it to apply for the exam. This notification is available on newspapers as well online including the official website of IBPS which is www.ibps.in


IBPS Clerk Eligibility

1. A bachelor degree is mandatory to have.

2. Also it is mandatory to have diploma or degree in Computers.

3. You can also have Computers/IT as subject in 12th or graduation.

4. Must be fluent in official language of the state where you wish to apply for job.

5. 20 years is minimum age to apply while 28 years is maximum.



IBPS Bank PO

1. Any graduation degree is acceptable as qualifying course.

2. No percentage criteria.

3. The minimum age is 20 years to apply.

4. You should not cross 30 years to apply for the exam.


Relaxation for Both Exams

1. There is 3 years relaxation in upper age limit for OBC.

2. SC/ST get 5 years relaxation.

3. PWD have 10 years relaxation.
