Yes you are fully eligible for UPSC IAS examination. UPSC seeks a graduation degree in any mode distance or regular for this examination. There are many IAS officers who passed from a distance college. So dont worry.

To apply for UPSC Civil Services examination ( often known as IAS examination ), the minimum education required is a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

So, being a student of graduation degree course even in distance i.e; correspondence mode, you are eligible to apply for the UPSC CSE examination after completion of your graduation degree course if your university is approved for offering distance mode education.

Yes, candidates passed or pursuing bachelor degree from a recognised university in distance mode are eligible to appear for Civil Service Examination.

It is conducted by UPSC. The examination is conducted in three stages. The age limit is 21-32 years from a recognised university.

So, you can start the preparation for the examination as per the syllabus of the examination to qualify in the examination.

Civil Service Examination is conducted for selection as an I.A.S Officer. It is conducted by UPSC every year. Examination is conducted in three stages.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The course offered in correspondence from a recognised university is valid to appear in the examination.

The age limit is 21-32 years. There is relaxation in upper age limit to appear for the examination.

So, you are eligible to appear in the examination after completion of graduation. For more information visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

Can I appear in UPSC IAS exam after completing Graduation being a correspondence student?

Hi everyone, I am doing my Graduation through correspondence. I have done my PUC in regular mode. I want to take UPSC IAS exam. But I am afraid because I am a correspondence student. So, can I appear in this exam after completing my Graduation?
