No, BA students cannot join physiotherapy course. To join Physiotherapy, you must have completed 10+2 with Biology as one the subject. Then, only you can join physiotherapy.

To become a physiotherapist a candidate must be 12th passed with physics , chemistry and biology as the main subject with minimum 50% of marks.

Age limit must be 17 years.
There are two entrance exams through which a candidate can get admission in physiotherapy. These two exams are- CET and BPT(bachelor of physiotherapy.
The duration of course is 3 to 4 years.
As a art student you are not eligible to apply for physiotherapist course.

Students with a science background can opt for a career in physiotherapy. To become a practicing physiotherapist or be employed as a professional in a hospital or clinic, one should have a BSc degree that has 4 years duration. One could also go in for post graduation. You have to qualify the Common Entrance Test.
If you would qualify this entrance test then he will get admission in bachelor of Physiotherapy degree course in top Institute of our country.

According to the eligibility criteria, a candidate who has completed 12th standard with Arts stream is not eligible to become physiotherapist. To become physiotherapist a candidate must have completed intermediate with medical stream from a recognised board. So you are not eligible.

No arts stream is not the required qualification for bachelor degree in Physiotherapist course. You need to have class 12th qualification with PCB stream from a recognised Board of Education.

Admission is based on the performance in the entrance exam and seats are allotted through counselling.

No, it is not possible to be a physiotherapist being an arts student. First you need to pursue intermediate in PCB group from a recognized board. Only after that you can do degree course in physiotherapy. Thanks

No it is not possible for a BA student to become a Physiotherapist. It is a good career option in India as well as abroad. Students who has a a science background can opt for a career in physiotherapy.

Bachelor in Physiotherapy(BPT) is the only course in India after 10+2 level to become a authorized physiotherapist. There are very few colleges that offers this course, like

Government Medical College, Nagpur
Apollo College of Physiotherapy, Hyderabad
Indian Association of Physiotherapists, MP
Indian Institute of Health Education and Research, Patna
Guru Gobind Indraprastha University, New Delhi
post Graduate Institute of medical Education and Research, Chandigarh.

The eligibility criteria are

The candidates should have passed 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized board.
The candidates should have score a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate at 12th level.
The age of the candidates should be minimum 17 years.

The candidates need to go through a Combined Entrance Test(CET) and secure a good rank to get admission in BPT course.
