To get admission in any engineering college in Maharashtra you will have to qualify the following criteria
Pass 12 standard with physics, chemistry and mathematics with at least 50%
You will have to pass an entrance exam
In order to get admission in Maharashtra you will have to have a domecile of Maharashtra State or must have passed 10 and 12 standard from Maharashtra for MHT CET
At the time of admission in engineering you will have to provide domecile
As you do not fulfill both the above criteria you will not be able to give MHT CET
To get admission in Maharashtra you can give the national level entrance exam NEET

HI DEAR FRIEND,

yes you can appear this exams but you have to submit your domecile. and then if you dont get admission in any govt. college , then apply for private college or crack aieee exams.
You can also take admission to institute in maharashra by cracking AIEEE,various maharashran institutes offer admission on the basis of All India Rank of AIEEE,and also not any of NIT's or institute under AIEEE have 50% percent seats reserved for domiciles and 50% for non-domiciles.

Dear,
If you consider me then-
you will definitely require the domicile for appearing in the entrance exam of Maharashtra.
but still if you are interested in getting a seat in engg. college in Maharashtra ...then you can get if from the 15% reservation in all the colleges for national level exam like aieee.
during the counseling of aieee you can give the preference to Maharashtra colleges
and then you will get a seat .
Thanks.
All the best.

Re: Can a student of Gujrat board appear in MH CET? Any state quota or management quota in MH CET? eligibility?

management quota is available on almost all private colleges of maharashra ..
10% reserve for AIEEE seat...in private college of maharashtra..
If you achieve good rank ..
there after you take admission in NIT...
NIT have 50% own state or 50% all other state quota..
you are not eligible for M H CET.2010..
good luck

Re: Can a student of Gujrat board appear in MH CET? Any state quota or management quota in MH CET? eligibility?

Yes you can appear for MH-CET,hence domicile is required for it but, even after that any institute which is affiliated to AICTE or any other national governing bodies of India have 5-15% seats reserved for non-domiciles.

However, you wont be able to get admision to government college, but doors of private colleges will remain always open for you.

You can also take admission to institute in maharashra by cracking AIEEE,various maharashran institutes offer admission on the basis of All India Rank of AIEEE,and also not any of NIT's or institute under AIEEE have 50% percent seats reserved for domiciles and 50% for non-domiciles.
