Re: What should be the minimum overall score in Graduation to be eligible to do B.Ed?

To be eligible for pursuing B.Ed. course, you should have completed graduation course (like B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, etc.) with at least 50% marks from a recognized institute.

However, there is relaxation in percentage for reserved category candidates.
  • 50 % for General and OBC
  • 45 % for SC, ST and PH

Since you have secured 46.12% in BA graduation course. So, in case you are SC/ST/PH, then you will be eligible for pursuing B.Ed. course.

Yes, entrance test is conducted for admission to B.Ed. course. In the entrance exam, you will have to face questions like:
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • General Knowledge and Current Affairs
  • Verbal Aptitude
  • Teaching Proficiency Test
  • Logical Reasoning

Eligibility criteria required to study Bachelor of Education is Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks from a recognised university.

So, No you are not eligible to do Bachelor of Education with only 46.12% if you belong to General category candidate. But if you belongs to reserved category candidates then you are eligible to do Bachelor of Education with 46.12%.

What should be the minimum overall score in Graduation to be eligible to do B.Ed?

Hi, I have completed my BA General and scored 46.12% overall in my final year. So, now am I eligible to do B.Ed with this score from any UGC recognized universities? Do I need to write any entrance as well for B.Ed?
