Re: Are female candidate allowed to join Indian Air Force on the basis of Diploma? To join Indian Air Force, the minimum eligibility criteria is that you should be graduated. No, female candidates are niot allowed for joining Indian Air Force on the basis of completion of their diploma degree course as the only option available for female candidates to join Indian Air force is through the AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) and for appearing in the same examination, the minimum education required is a graduation degree from a recognised university. Only male candidates who have completed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognised board are eligible to join Indian Air Force by appearing in NDA examination. The age limit required to appear in NDA examination is 16 1/2 to 19 1/2 years old. So, being a female candidates, you are not eligible to appear in NDA examination and you are not eligible to join Indian Air Force. |

Are female candidate allowed to join Indian Air Force on the basis of Diploma? Sir, I'm a final year student of Electronic and Telecommunication Diploma. I got 84% marks in previous semester. I would like to be joined in the Indian Air Force and I am a female candidate. So, am I eligible or not? |
