Re: What is the scope for girls in BSc Optometry? Hi, even girls also having a great career in this course. Please check the following details then take a decision.. I believe that individuals who take the BSc in Optometry are happy with their choices. Most find jobs in their own country and in certain countries, it is considered a critical shortage job. A certain number will go towards a PhD in the subject and then can find jobs in industry or in academia. The industry jobs are attractive as software in augmented/virtual reality has recruited heavily in the PhD in physiological optics where many other PhD disciplines might find it hard to find jobs in either industry or academia. You can also try a job in teaching field also which is very secure for girls, so without second thought u can choose this course.... Best of luck.... |
