Hello friend,
Candidates who have studied within the state for last 4 consecutive years are regarded as local candidate.
Apart from this, the candidates are treated as local candidate without studying for last four consecutive years provided their parents resided within the state for atleast 10 years or they are employed in State or Central Government, Public Sector corporations, Local Bodies, Universities and other similar quasi-Public Institutions within the State.
