There is a vast syllabus of upsc cse for that you have build your base so you have to read ncert books of class 6th to 12th of every subject which are mentioned in syllabus and then you have to move on advanced books like m. Laksmikant for polity and all if you want to know more you can get refference by previous year toppers. |

You can refer the below site http://www.onestopias.com/ias-preparation.asp. which contain lot of material,,. Apart from that you you should be mentally fully prepared to bear the strain of this one-year-long exam; and second, you should have (or develop) a sound expression (written as well as verbal) in the medium (language) you want to appear with.
