As a commerce student you have these subject only for you to choose from list economics commerce management BUT you can choose other subjects also. list of subject available for IAS exam 1. Agriculture 2. Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science 3. Botany 4. Chemistry 5. Commerce 6. Economics 7. Geography 8. Geology 9. Indian History 10.Law 11.Mathematics 12.Management 13.Medical Science 14.Philosophy 15.Physics 16.Political Science 17.Psychology 18.Public Administration 19.Sociology 20.Statistics 21.Zoology 22.Anthropology |

To clear the exams of IAS standard you need to put in your maximum effort then only you will be able to clear it. Following is the list of subjects from which you can select: 1. Agriculture 2. you should give the max importance to your interest because you have to spend a lot of time in studying your selected subjects if you don't have interest in what you have selected then it will become mere waste in ..you will be suffered with boredom so don't listen anyone's suggestion go through the syllabus and topics of each and every optional select the subject in which you are most attracted and have a 80% interested topics in the syllabus this is how you have to select the optionals this should be your target and you have to rock the preparation time interestingly not boringly so, if you are interested in any optional select it even if every one says it as the toughest one .. this is all the opinion of my friends who are preparing for the same Take the guidance of successful and unsuccessful candidates But all these you have to do after clearing your preliminary examination i.e., CSAT till then you will have common syllabus for all the applicants my suggestion to you is select one core subject of your bachelors i.e., Management studies one general subject like Geography ,Psychology what ever depending upon your interest Regards ~AdityA~ |
