The upper age relaxation applicable to reserved category candidates and Ex Serviceman is: *OBC candidate: three years. *SC/ST candidate: five years. *Ex Serviceman: 5 years. |

Re: Age limit for EX-BSF in Maharashtra Police? There are 10 years age relaxation for the ex-serviceman in Maharashtra police for the job of Sub-Inspector. Eligibility criteria for the post of Sub-Inspector in Maharashtra Police:- Candidate must have graduation degree or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Candidate must know the Marathi Language Height:- 165 cm(approx)for men and for women height must be minimum 157 cm. Chest:- 79 cm (lower) and 84 cm (upper) |

For ex-BSF Personnel additional 10 years are considered upper age limit i.e 35 years is the maximum age limit for Ex-CAPF/Defence Personnel for the recruitment in Maharashtra Police to the post of Sub-Inspector/Constable. Other Criteria are : Height : Should be more than 165cm Eye : 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other with no colourblindness Weight : Should not be less than 55kg and must be in proportion to the height. |

Re: Age limit for EX-BSF in Maharashtra Police? In every department of the government, there are certain relaxations in the age for the candidates belonging to the different categories. You will get an age relaxation of 5 years under the category of Ex Servicemen, based on the details you have provided. You have to fill up the form accordingly and keep the documents ready to produce, whenever asked for. |

Re: Age limit for EX-BSF in Maharashtra Police? In 2016, Maharashtra government decided to extend upper age limit for recruitment in Maharashtra Police. The upper age limit was increased from 25 years to 28 years. Now, the age criteria for general category candidates is 18-28 years. Upper age limit is relaxed by three years for OBC and five years for SC/ST candidates. Ex Serviceman personnel are eligible for extra five years in upper age limit. |

But as you are an Ex-Servicemen that is why you are eligible upto 42 years of age as because age relaxation should be 10 years. Let me tell you that age relaxation for ex-servicemen should be 10 years. |
