Candidate's should have completed their Class 12th with minimum 50% Marks. Besides, Candidate's must hold D.El.Ed degree (for Primary Level , class 1 to 4) or B.Ed degree (for class 5 to 12) . As you have got 47% marks in your 12th, you are not eligible to apply. |

Hello, UPTET [Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test] is a state level entrance exam which is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) once every year. UPTET is conducted for Primary Teachers and Upper Primary Tearchers. So, the eligibility criteria varies accordingly. As you have not mentioned about your graduation that whether it is 2 year or 4 year course or you have cleared B. Ed etc. If you have pursued 2 year graduation plus additional course mentiioned for the post eligibility then the candidate must secure 50% in bachelor degree or if you have pursued 4 year graduation then you are not eligible as the candidate must score 50% in Intermediate. For that, you need to pursue qualification either 2 year course D.Ed or 2 year course D.El.Ed or 2 year course BTC or 2 year course B.Ed from a recognized university. UPTET Eligibility Qualification for UPTET Primarily Teacher You should have passed your graduation from a recognized university and passed 2 year diploma in elementary education course (D.El.Ed) or 2 year BTC (Basic Training Certificate) course or 2 year diploma in education (D.Ed) from a recognized university. OR You must have passed your graduation or post graduation with at least 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized university and passed B.Ed course from a recognized university. OR You must have passed (10+2) with at least 50% marks in aggregate and passed 4 year bachelor's in elementary education course from a recognized university. Age Limit Your age should be between 18 to 35 years. UPTET Exam Pattern For Paper I (For Primary Teacher) - Number of Questions : 150 - Number of Marks : 150 - Duration : 2.5 Hours - For each correct answer, +1 mark will be awarded and no mark will be deducted for any incorrect response. The eligibility criteria for this examination is given as below: >>Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university plus Bachelor of Education from a recognized university. If you have not done Bachelor of Education then you need to pursue this course in order to become eligible for this course. Candidates with 50% marks in graduation can apply for this course. |

You must have completed intermediate with minimum aggregate of 50% and graduation with minimum aggregate of 45% to appear in this exam. You can't appear in this exam because of your 47% in intermediate. |
